Happy New Year

As I face the end of one year and the start of another, I have to give praise and glory to God for never giving up on me or never leaving me stranded without Him to turn to this past year.

He has answered more prayers than I wish to count-including this new house thing. This house will be used for His purposes.

As I start 2009, I don't have resolutions, because they tend to get broken soon after the new year starts. I want to strive to be the best person God wants me to be- I want to be molded more into His image than I already am, I want to spent more time with Him, and I want His radiance to shine through me.

I want to wish all of you who read this a very Happy and joyus New Year, and may you enjoy the peace that only God can bring to you. Share Him with someone who needs a friend.

Blogging Redo

Okay everyone, I said I was new to this. After looking around on this thing, I found the font colors and I have changed the colors so save your eyes. I realize that some eyes reading this are a little older than others.

Home Owner

Well, today was the day! I am an official homeowner. My husband and I signed the papers today, I thought I would get writers cramp from singning soooooooooo many papers. Our morgatage lady gave us a Christmas ornament that says "new home-2008".

After signing my life away, we went in search of appliances! UGH! What an experience. I now have a new stove, refrigerator and washer and dryer. Everything is black. How cool :-). I was told that I could decorate anyway I wanted, this is going to be fun, as long as the checkbook cooperates.

After the appliances, came Lowes to shop for paint, and window treatments. #1 daughter has chosen green for her room, and daughter #2 wants pink. I think the color she choose is pretty darn close to PeptoBismal pink. Lowes did not have the window coverings I wanted, so we came home (old house) and ordered them from JCP on line. (the only way to shop)

Tomorrow brings a new couch into my life.

My Saturday

Hi everyone! This is my first attempt at blogging, so please be patient.

I have spent my morning donating blood, then coming home to give my opinion on Catlin's new hair cut and style. After much thought, Catlin decided to re-wash her hair and style it on her own. Tonight is the Christmas dance and things have got to be just so. She is going with Jon (her boyfriend of 9 months). I had to remind him to pick up her flowers. This dance thing is new to him. David is going to have to "school him" on a few things.

Allison is with a friend and I guess we will have an overnight guest. What is one more?
